WHAT THE HELL...?

I'm not sure if any have seen it yet but, I know you will.

San Francisco Mayor Newsom has lost his mind I think. He's talking of "SUEING" the San Francisco 49ers?

All because they won't change the name? 

I don't think I have heard anything so rediculous. Why would you want the team that put the city of San Francisco on the NFL map, to change the name of the team?!? That would make absolutely NO SENSE! If the 49ers were to change the name of the team, you can best believe...football season in the city of San Francisco would NEVER NEVER be the same.

As far as I'm concerned if the name remains, people outside of California will still want to go to a "SAN FRANCISCO 49ers game because they ARE the SAN FRANCISCO 49ers!

In my opinion, Mayor Newsom should be happy that the 49ers are keeping the name. The mayor is quoted as saying

"What can I do? I can sue them. I can browbeat them." "I'd love to keep them but we can't sell our soul"

OK you don't want to sell "our" souls...? I wouldn't give a rats ass WHAT the city of San Francisco did to keep the Niners in San Francisco...JUST KEEP THEM HERE if you REALLY WANT TO KEEP THEM.

 Don't give us that bull crap man. The city of San Francisco has had PLENTY of time to do something to keep the 49ers in San Francisco. But with all the procrastenating that has been done, I don't blame Santa Clara for taking a chance to bring an NFL team to their city. Granted they are going to be an hour away from the city but, I will still make the games and call them the SAN FRANCISCO 49ers. And since the team wants to keep the name the same, stop bitching!

Here's my thought Mayor, if the city of San Francisco wants to build a Neighborhood, then BUILD A NEIGHBORHOOD. God knows that Hunters Point is in bad shape and needs to be cleaned out and refreshed. Other than that, leave OUR (49ers Fans) team alone and take care of your future endeavors.
