look great on paper all they want.  Paper don't win Championships.  Defense does, as the Cardinals painfully proved a few weeks ago.


*  Dan Reeves-  A lot of people want to say that Jerry Jones didn't want to give up any power, and that's why the deal fell through.  They may be right, but think about what Dan Reeves could have brought to Dallas.  Exactly.  No disrespect to Dan, a great football person.  But it would be like hiring Chan Gailey for advise.  We'd be better off hiring Ray Lewis to consult.  Doesn't matter what team he plays with, just have in via Satellite to pump up the team.  And if we still lose, Ray Ray can pick out five players that contributed to the loss, and kick them in the nuts.

You won't see many 12-10 final score folks.

Cardinals 30 Cowboys 24

Never before had an NFL team started a game with a kickoff return for a score, then ended it with a blocked punt in overtime for a touchdown. Infact, it was the first time in NFL history that a blocked punt for a touchdown ended a game in overtime. Dallas scored 10 points in the final 2 minutes of regulation, sending the game into overtime when Nick Folk's 52-yard field goal barely cleared the crossbar as the fourth quarter ended. Cards QB Kurt Warner went 22-30 for 236 netting 2 touchdowns to go along with an interception. Tony Romo had 321 yards from a 34-39 passing day along with 3 Touchdowns. News broke today that Romo will be sidelined for 4 months with a broken finger. We'll see how they play without him.

Red Zone Ranger NFL week IV What can you say about last week's games. Some surprises, some expected results. Some teams like Detroit, St. Louis, probably the Raiders and the Texans are headed for losing seasons. Sure they might make things interesting in certain weeks.
