OK, evrybody is talking about our QB issues. I don't really see the problem. Alex Smith is coming of an injury that has not COMPLETELY healed but, he's throwing well at the OTA's.

This shouldn't cause panic for Hill fans. Hill is very much as good a QB as we've seen him be. I read somewhere that some think it might have been a fluke because of the offense that was being used by Martz. I don't care what offense is being run, if you have time to get the ball to your recievers down field, you'll complete 60-70% of your passes.

  We started the year 2-1 before losing 6 in a row.  Along the way, the team's future, QB Alex Smith, was placed on IR and journeyman J.T. O'Sullivan snagged the starting QB job.  Plagued by excessive turnovers, he was benched in favor of the savior from last year, Shaun Hill.  Our Head Coach Mike Nolan was replaced, our egotistical Offensive Coordinator Mike Martz was silenced, and our highly-vaunted TE Vernon Davis was benched.

yet, it wasn't. something early on told me that Alex Smith wasn't going to do as well in the Mad Martz' system that everyone thought that he could eventually show. sorry, but I thought, albeit not too strongly, that O'Sullivan was a favorite of Mike Martz in Detroit and that he would get every opportunity to showcase his one advantage coming over here... knowledge of the system.
