Cotto-Margarito Bout Finalized posted on 05/15/2008
ESPN's Dan Rafael confirms that the proposed bout between Puerto Rican pugilist Miguel Cotto and Mexico's Antonio Margarito has been finalized.
The bout is being promoted as "The Battle" because of the come-forward, aggressive styles of both fighters. The fight will be held June 26th in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Margarito holds the IBF welterweight title, while Cotto holds the WBA version. The fight will be for Cotto's title as Margarito is expected to vacate his belt. The event will be televised by HBO Pay-Per-View
